Natura 2000
NATURA 2000 is the world's largest coordinated network of protected natural areas. When Croatia becomes a full member of the European Union, its rich biological and landscape diversity will be included in this incredible network and will become a key piece in the European puzzle.
Protected Area Management System (PAMS) in the Republic of Croatia
The Protected Area Management System project in the Republic of Croatia was implemented in the period from 2006 to 2009 by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with the State Geodetic Directorate and the State Institute for Nature Protection, and the assistance of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway.
Habitat map
The habitat map is a GIS database on the distribution of individual habitat types in Croatia. The map is built in a scale of 1:100,000, with a minimum mapping unit of 9 hectares.

The database on Croatian wetlands is the result of the project CROWET - Inventorization of wetland habitats in Croatia. Through this project, approximately 3800 individual localities and eight large, complex wetland areas have been identified and mapped
