Annual programmes

Pursuant to the Nature Protection Act (OG 70/05, 139/08, Articles 76 and 81), the governance of protected areas in the Republic of Croatia at the annual level is based on the annual programme of protection, maintenance, conservation, promotion and use of a protected area. The annual programme is passed by the Executive Council of the public institute managing the protected area.

Ordinances on internal order

The Ordinance on internal order regulates in detail the issues of, and stipulates the measures for, the protection, conservation, upgrading and use of a protected area.

Physical plans for areas with special characteristics

The organisation of areas, terms of use, intent and protection of areas in national parks and nature parks are regulated under physical plans of areas of special characteristics which assess the natural, landscape, cultural and historical values of the area.
